At-a-Glance

This two-year, in-field research project was part of the Oxford Internet Institute’s 6-year Oxford Electronic-Social Science project. I conducted ethnographic research with an academic-industry partnership lab, the Center for Advanced Spatial Analysis, in London. My research investigated how the software engineers at the lab created the London Bike Visualization website tool and the harvesting of Twitter data (“firehose” API) to map the social dynamics of Twitter users of Greater London.
